We are very excited to introduce the newest members of the Froomz team, our interns extraordinaire. These rock stars, currently students at UC Berkeley pursuing degrees in economics and engineering, are all passionate about the meeting and events industry and are looking to sharpen their business development and marketing skills through their internship with Froomz.
And so, without further ado, here they are……
CHING LEE | Marketing Analyst
Ching is currently a third year Economics major at UC Berkeley. As our Marketing Analyst intern, she is responsible for following industry trends and analyzing the effectiveness of our marketing activities. With her economics background and enthusiasm for numbers, Ching is well equipped to tackle her roles as an analyst.
In her leisure time, Ching enjoys playing the piano, a passion she has enjoyed since childhood. With music a huge part of her life, she’s never without her trusty earphones and can often be caught walking around listening to her favorite tunes. Her favorite piece to play is “Marriage D’amour”, by Richard Clayderman.
FELIX LU | Customer Marketing
Felix Lu is currently a 3rd-year chemical engineering student at UC Berkeley. As Customer Marketer of Froomz, he is tasked with managing relationships with venues and customers, as well as promoting and effectively marketing Froomz across various online outlets such as blogs and YouTube videos.
With his previous experience as a staff writer for the San Jose Almaden Times community newspaper, disaster relief participant in the 2008 Chinese Sichuan earthquake, and current position as an English mentor and counselor for international students, Felix has always had a passion for journalism, international affairs, as well as teaching/learning new languages. With his technical background, he hopes to provide a different perspective into the marketing realm of Froomz and develop novel advertising and writing skills within a business context.
YANYING JIANG | Business Development
YanYing is our new business development intern. A senior at UC Berkeley majoring in Political Economy, she’s currently part of the UC Berkeley Model United Nations and a member of the International Student Advisory Committee, where she enjoys discussing world affairs and listening to different voices from diverse groups in the campus.
An adventure-seeker and avid traveler, she spent last summer studying in Paris and Barcelona. She is determined to work on her Spanish and French to help her better prepare for a career in International Economic Development. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out at cafés, checking out local hot spots, and trying out new restaurants.
KRITI SONDHI | Community Manager
Kriti is currently a junior at UC Berkeley, majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Along with her technical background in engineering, software programming, and metabolic modeling, she has always had a passion for the arts and public speaking.
As a ten-year trained classical dancer, professional actor, and state-ranked debater, Kriti always knew that she wanted to pursue a profession that would allow her to meld technical expertise with effective social interaction. This idea is what drives her to pursue marketing and product development. Having been a Marketing Intern and Product Manager for the start-up CampusAB in the past, she hopes that she will be able to use her experience to take the Froomz brand to a whole new level as a Community Manager.
Welcome to Froomz!
