Take a look into our venue of the week, the Just Dance Event Space! Located conveniently on 2500 Embarcadero Street in Oakland, JDB is just a mere 1.25 miles away from the Fruitvale BART station. As the Bay Area’s premier banquet facility, the center offers a total capacity of 10,000 square feet distributed over three separate ballrooms.
Our highlight this week will focus on the Grand Ballroom. Basked in natural sunlight during daytime and an array of resplendent disco lights by night, the Grand Ballroom caters to a variety of events, from weddings to dinner receptions, dance competitions, and even yoga classes. So named for its vast capacity, the Grand Ballroom is easily the largest accommodation out of the three ballrooms.
Aside from its massive 5,000 square feet of venue space, the ballroom boasts a highly sophisticated lighting system including disco lights as well as a computerized DJ console, and two large marquee screens with video capability for large conferences or sales meetings, and a 42 x 72 floating Maple-wood competition sized dance floor. Accommodations include up to 350 attendees total.
