Sipping with Seton 2012 | FroomzBlogOn Wednesday, October 3, Froomz participated as a donor for Sipping with Seton, an annual fundraising event for Seton Medical Center Foundation, now in it’s 100th year of service. The event succeeded in raising over $50,000 to purchase a portable ultrasound machine for Seton Hospital’s Labor & Delivery Department.

Sipping with Seton was held at Lake Merced Golf Club, which played host to the 2012 U.S. Girls Junior Championship. Over 200 physicians, nurses, and community leaders attended the festivities, which featured wine, beer and spirit tastings from Simoncini Vineyards, Cline Cellars, Domenico Winery, Highway 12, Volante, and Castello di Amorosa, along with hand-crafted beer from Half Moon Bay Brewing Company and 21st Amendment Brewery.

Jason Elkin | Uncorked at Sipping with Seton | FroomzBlogJason Elkin, host of the television show “Uncorked” offered 3D wine tasting, while ABC7 Morning News Meteorologist Mike Nicco presided as Master of Ceremonies. The event planning committee was headed by Froomz VP of Marketing/Business Development, Christina Dunham, and Donna Lowe, General Manager of Lake Merced Golf Club, with expert support from the Seton Medical Center Foundation staff, led by Tina Anh (Chief Development Officer), Louise Felsher (Individual Giving Manager), Claire Reilly (Development Coordinator), Laura Jason (Major Gifts and Planned Giving) and Chandra Karp (Development Assistant).

Sipping with Seton committee members also included Helen Fisicaro, Ferlie Andong, Sol Oquendo, Teresa Proano, Jumana Dajani, Lizzette Tran, Judy James, Bernadette Barriere, and Evan Boyd. Volunteer support was provided by Froomz Business Development Consultants Courtney McQuade and Sarah Solano, along with Vicky Padilla, Maggie Tsan, Christina Tran, Derick Macabenta and several students from  the UCSF Nursing Program.
