Last Thursday, September 27, over a hundred meeting, event and tech industry professionals gathered at Gallery 4N5 to officially welcome Froomz to the SF Bay Area.
The festivities kicked off with acoustic music by Joe Cieplinski and Rik Avalos of Sevens Fears, who played a combination of original tunes and 80s pop-rock covers.
Glenn Stevick opened the program, introducing Froomz CEO Yan Heim, whom he fondly called the “brainiac.”
The celebration also gave the Froomz Team an opportunity to show appreciation for the industry’s support for the company’s year-long beta-testing, from conducting usability studies, to completing surveys and participating in focus group discussions. As Froomz CTO and Co-Founder Mike Cody stated, “Without your valuable feedback, we couldn’t have come up with such a robust service.”
Christina Dunham, VP of Marketing and Business Development, offered a sneak preview of Froomz 1.0, revamped and re-designed based on the meeting/event planner requests and feedback.
All of the guests were gifted with Custom Wine Chill Bags, created by Print ‘Em All, and stuffed with wines from Freixenet and Gloria Ferrer. A few lucky guests also went home with raffle prizes furnished by Parties That Cook, Appelblom Jewelry, Metronome SF, The Ramp, Studio Gourmet, Gallery 4N5, and SusieCakes, with the Grand Prize an overnight stay at one of Galleria Park Hotel‘s Suites, a $500 value.
Props to Connie Cody Photography for capturing the night and special thanks go out to our friends at sf.citi, Hearst Media Services and Gastronomique en Vogue for coming out to party with us!
