This refers to the minimum amount of people that the Venue requires in order to book an event space. For example: a venue may require a food and beverage minimum whereby a party of one can book out the space if they wish to meet that food and beverage minimum or if they are willing to pay the room rental fee if there is no food and beverage minimum. But other venues may wish to maximize their revenue potential by requiring that a minimum amount of people must attend the event because the event space is a bar and they make their money based upon how many drinks they sell.
