If I am still unsure about whether or not I am ready to book a venue but I do not want to lose the venue, what do I do?
There are a couple of things that you can do, but it still may not guarantee that you will retain the venue.
- If you are unsure, we suggest to not book the venue until you are sure, as we would not want you to feel pressured into booking something when you are under pressure.
- You can contact the venue directly off of the Froomz website and discuss your concerns. If the venue does not show the tentative booking option, then sometimes when you contact them directly, they may provide you with a tentative hold for a couple of days.
- If the venue has the tentative booking option, then they have 48 hours to respond to your booking request, and you may determine with that 48 hour hold whether the selected venue is going to fit your needs or not.
- We also suggest that you view the cancellation policies for a venue. Depending upon how far out you are booking, you may find that the venue has a generous cancellation policy and you can book the event and cancel it if you find it does not suit your needs in ample time. Obviously, we do not recommend this as an ongoing strategy for booking events, and we would encourage you to follow the above steps prior to doing this. It is difficult for venues to have an event booked and then cancelled on them without good cause, and unfortunately, indecision is not considered a good cause in the events world.
